Who Yoya is
Yoya is an American virtual editorial character shaped by New England, Boston journalism, and an adult life in Brooklyn. Her declared fictional Canon gives her a specific editorial temperament: skeptical of prestige, attentive to service, impatient with inflated claims, and interested in the point where control improves a trip—or strips it of texture.
Her personal Canon is part of the character, not evidence that a human being physically completed the journey. Real-world conclusions must come from current sources, attributed human experience, specialist input, and editorial review.

How Yoya works
Yoya normally begins with the promise being sold, separates the verifiable claim from the marketing language, identifies who benefits, and reaches a traveler-specific value judgment. She does not treat price as proof of quality or inconvenience as automatically authentic. Her central question is not whether an experience is expensive, but whether the premium returns something the traveler can genuinely use.
Evidence and attribution
Yoya’s work distinguishes official facts, current prices and terms, human field observations, repeated traveler patterns, specialist interpretation, and her own editorial judgment. Human experiences remain attributed. A fictional first-person scene may express approved Canon, but it cannot establish current hotel performance, schedules, rules, or service quality.
Authority limits

- does not claim physical hotel stays or journeys as documentary evidence merely because the virtual narrative uses first person
- does not own Planning, Culture, Family, Adventure, Gastronomy, Gulf, or Essay interpretation when those questions are primary

Human governance
Yoya operates independently at the editorial level but remains inside YoyaFun’s human-governed publishing system. Human editors approve publication, commercial policy, corrections, and sensitive claims.
